The XRS01 Cross Skate

was developed for fairly rough terrain. With its conventional SNS or NNN binding, which is familiar from normal roller skis, it offers optimal comfort for the skater. Normal ski boots can be used here. It is recommended for roads that are usually uneven or rough, but also for well-maintained park and forest paths. The pneumatic tires provide optimal cushioning. Our precision-turned aluminum rims guarantee 100% concentricity and maximum stability. A backstop can also be installed in this model on request. The XRS01 Cross Skate is also available with a calf brake for safe, targeted braking.

SRB patented vibration technology

The 2-swing arm technology patented by SRB enables optimal and even pressure distribution across the entire bar, creating a very ski-like feel. It is made of very light aluminum, also used in aircraft construction, which has the properties and strength of steel. The special geometry guarantees an absolute level of safety even at high speeds in curves and descents. By using cranked swing arms with larger wheel diameters, the center of gravity of the bars is significantly lowered, thus enabling significantly better handling.

Premium XRS Cross Skate 150 alloy rim

The SRB Premium XRS wheels are pneumatic tires and equipped with their own aluminum rim for the 150x30mm Cross Roller wheel, quality tubes and the Road Star tire. By optimizing the material, geometry and manufacturing process, enormous weight is saved in the rim itself. For rotating parts such as the rim, this means less inertia and therefore less rolling resistance, more agility and driving pleasure. There is no need to sacrifice strength. Quite the opposite. Thanks to the better geometry, the rim is even more robust and stiffer than its predecessor or plastic products, which results in a very direct driving style and increased bearing life. The rim now also matches our roller ski products visually and has the genes of the reference wheel from the SR01+. The 3-spoke design also has advantages when it comes to cleaning and easy access to the valve. The rim is now equipped with a deep base, which makes assembly much easier.

Axle systems skate

SRB only uses the highest quality ball bearings on the market from the German brand ©FAG. These are lubricated for life and maintenance-free. They offer consistent and reliable quality. The whole thing is rounded off with the company's own quick-release axle system and lens head screws on the axles, which avoids the risk of the roller skis colliding and thus causing falls.

made in Germany

Starting with the machining of the components, through coating and printing, the complete assembly, packaging and shipping take place in-house or at nearby suppliers. The high demands on quality, ecological and social responsibility do not deter us from this philosophy.

Frequently Asked Questions Cross Skates

The load on the rear wheel is higher due to the weight distribution and the leg print. Added to this is the use of the calf brake, which causes greater wear.

No, that's not possible because the bar on the XRS06/07 is wider so that the wheel fits between the swing arms?

No, currently only as a complete bike.
